1099misc income

Hi, When I tried to put in expenses to offset my 1099 misc income, it "recommended" that i get the turbo tax self employed but wouldnt let me continue otherwise. Does turbo tax not allow me to put in business expenses? if so, can you please let me know how.

You may enter 1099-MISC income in Deluxe.

Once you start to enter Business Expenses, you will need to upgrade to Self Employed
