When will the 1099-R be available? I have been checking daily and manually checking for updates and nothing.

The Form 1099-R section has been available now for almost three weeks.  Update your software to the latest release

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen.  Click on Check for Updates

(For Mac, click on the TurboTax menu)

The form has been successfully released. 

Try the following steps to enter your 1099-R

1. Go to Federal > Wages & Income > IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) and click Add/Edit.
2. Select Add a 1099-R.
3. Choose Change how I enter my form.
4. When asked "How would you like to upload your 1099-R?", select Type it in myself.
5. For the question "Who gave you a 1099-R?", click Financial institution or other provider and then Continue.
6. Input the information for the 1099-R provider and proceed through the remaining interview questions.
