1099-R my new york state tax withheld is 500 and state distribution is 0 and turbo tax gives me error of new york state withholdings cant be greater than or equal to state distribution. how to get this to clear tax review.

Enter the amount from box 1 in the box 16 for state distribution to clear this error. The state distribution from box 16 is not entered on your state tax return.
