I am retired military and have used TurboTax for about 20 years. In addition I am a retired professor with 6 IRAs from different schools.
When listing income the 1099-R for the military is a "non-qualified" account unlike the IRAs. Going through the screens I am asked if it is qualified or unqualified. I check "unqualified." A screen or two later asks:
Is this a 403-B NO
Another "Qualified" Account NO
The program then says there is a problem with this entry. I have spoken to four accountants on line (paid for service) for 5 hours and basically they take me through the screens and we try every possible choice, but nothing works! All accountants work with me to fix the problem, but I finally figured out and brought to their attention there is a program error. The last accountant told me to check back in 72 hours as TurboTax was working the problem. I went online this morning after a week and NO Fix!
PLEASE direct me to someone who can fix the issue or refund my money.

Your experience has been forwarded to our TurboTax developers and they are working on a resolution. There should be a resolution by the end of next week. Thank you for bringing to our attention.
