I am not sure exactly how to answer this question. I retired from one of the big three auto manufacturers and am now receiving my pension. I am not sure if I check the box that says "other qualified IRA distributions and private-source pensions" or "none of the above". I do know that it is not any of the other choices, I just do not know between these two. Would my pension be considered a private-source pension? I don't know.

This does not appear to be a question for Federal purposes, so what state do you reside in?
I live in Michigan.
I believe I have it all figured out, Thank you.
Yes, the auto company pensions are private source pensions.
