So I’m filing a 1099 nec form but I worked for a business and there’s nowhere form me
to input the payers tin or recipients tin and this is my first time filing a 1099 form and I need a stead by step or walk through if how to do it so I don’t end up owing more money than I should

@Ara2004, please follow the steps below and this will allow you to easily input your Form 1099-NEC:
You don't need to enter the recipients Tin. However, to add the payers tin, there will be a question on the screen which states "How is your payer's federal ID number formatted". You will see two options with different formatting. You can refer to your Form 1099-NEC to see how it is formatted and select the relevant option and then input the Tin number.
