I need to declare $150.00 in income. My broker would have issued a 1099-MISC if the amount was over $600. How do I enter $150 in miscellaneous income for which I will not receive a Form 1099-MISC? (it's neither interest nor dividends)

It depends. You can enter it on a 1099-MISC even if you were not issued one. However, you will need the issuer's Federal ID Number or Social Security Number to complete the form. If you do please follow the steps below:

    1. Click on Tax Home from Left Side Menu.
    2. Click on Wages & Income from the Main Screen.
    3. Scroll down till you see the section for "Other Common Income". In this section, select Form 1099-MISC and enter the information.

If you don't have the Federal ID Number and Social Security Number, then please follow the steps below:

    1. Click on Tax Home from Left Side Menu.
    2. Click on Wages & Income from the Main Screen.
    3. Scroll down till you see the section for "Less Common Income". In this section, select the last option for Miscellaneous Income. In this section, select the last option for "Other reportable Income" and enter the description and amount.

Thanks. It's an acceptable work around. It requires me to answer Yes to the question, do you have a 1099-MISC? (when I really don't), otherwise it boots me out. But it got the job done. Thanks.
