1099 Composite

It's 2025 and Turbo Tax has yet to figure out how users can enter Form 1099 Composite issued by ALL STOCK BROKERAGE FIRMS.

 

Users have to sort the entries: dividends, interests, foreign taxes, capital gains/losses ONE BY ONE.

 

WHY?

1099 Composite

It depends. I have been preparing tax returns for 15 years for various firms and there isn't a method for entering composites. the closest solution is to have the information imported into the return.  This is available if the banking institution is a participating partner with Turbo Tax.
