I was on my mom's covered california plan for 2022, and got married in June of 2022 so i filed married jointly for my 2022 taxes. My mom got a 1095A and claimed 100% on her taxes. I just got a letter from the IRS asking to submit my 1095A and a form 8962. I am not sure what to do as I did not receive a 1095A in my name and the form 8962 is asking for my family size and income but with the info from my moms 1095A is based on her income. I am confused on what to do. Thank you in advance!

Even though you didn't receive a 1095-A, you still need to complete Form 8962 because a Healthcare.gov plan covered you.

Simply... if she claimed 100% of the credit then you just need to fill in the 8962 claiming 0% of the credit ... this will change nothing on your return but will make the IRS happy.
Great thank you so much! Do I use me and my husbands info for I’m one and everything else on the 8962? Anything to make the IRS happy…. Lol
*info for income
Yes, use your and your husband's income, and any dependents' modified adjusted gross income, on Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit. All figures in Part I of the form should be based on your information.
See Line 2a and Line 2b in the Instructions for Form 8962 for more information.
