Yes, but student loan interest paid is still covered in the Federal Free version.  Please refer to the instructions below to enter this into your return.

If you are using TurboTax Online (please see screenshots attached):

  1. Click on My Account in the blue bar at the top
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on Topic Search
  4. Search for 1098-E and then click on Go
  5. Follow the prompts

Note : If you don't have a My Account, try maximizing your window and/or zooming out your browser.  If you are on a mobile device, you will not have access to My Account or Tools.  The instructions below for TurboTax Desktop should offer you close guidance.  If you need more assistance, please comment below.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop (CD/Download product)

  1. Click on Federal Taxes (Personal if using Home & Business or Self-Employed)
  2. Click on Deductions & Credits (you may need to click Continue)
  3. Select I'll choose what I work on
  4. Scroll down to Education
  5. Click on Start/Update next to Student Loan Interest Paid
  6. Follow the prompts

Form 1040EZ and Form 1040A were removed after tax year 2017.  There is only a Form 1040.
