1040-SR Calculations

1040 SR - How come line 24 (Total Tax) minus Line 33 (Total Payments) on 1040 does not equal line 37.    I have a energy credit on line 20 that is the difference that is not included in line 37.   Could that be it?    Any other factors?

No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

Thanks - I'll see if the math works after 1/31/24 when Residential energy credits are scheduled to be completed.
