part-time independent contractor

Hello,

I was an independent contractor part-time this year. My total income for the year is below the 12,880 so I don't owe any taxes. Do I still need to report my income? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Thanks!

If you have had even $400 of income from self-employment you are required to file a tax return and pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare.
