How does the new act and laws affect Landscapers who install Landscaping, Waterfalls, and Etc. Plus maintain it? Also if you purchase new windows for your house last year and installed them this year does that count? What other home improvements count? Does Paint and structure repairs count? Does Landscaping count as an improvement?

As for the Energy Credit for windows, the credit was extended to 2022 with the Inflation Reduction Act, and is worth 10% of the costs of installing certain energy-efficient insulation, windows, doors, roofing, and similar energy-saving improvements in your home. There is a $200 lifetime limit for new windows. However, beginning in 2023, there are expansions to the credit - the max will be $600 for exterior windows and skylights.
