January 2026 software update to Turbotax 2024

I opened Turbotax 2024 this morning (Jan 4, 2026) and a software update occurred.  When it completed Turbotax says I now have an $18,000 refund. I this possible?

January 2026 software update to Turbotax 2024

Print out the new 1040 and compare it to the ac tual return you filed.  What c hanged?
