Will my EIC be larger if I wait until February 15th to file?

My EIC is much smaller this year even though we have added another child to our family. If we wait until the 15th of February to file will it be a larger amount?

Waiting to file will not increase the EIC you can get. Your EIC is based on the amount you earned by working in 2016.
