Why is my 2024 employer and payroll contributions for my HSA showing a $0 when I entered an amount from Box 12d Code: W on my W-2?

The amount shown on Box 12 Code W from your W-2 will show a contribution to your HSA that is already deducted from your income in Box 1 (Pre-Taxed Contribution). Therefore, you will not see a tax brake for an HSA unless you make additional direct contributions out of pocket.
