Can i take the standard deduction for my federal and state taxes for 2018? i did last year. my deductions will be less if i can't. please help?

Why do you think you cannot use the standard deduction? The software uses your standard deduction as the default unless you enter enough itemized deductions to exceed your standard deduction or unless you force itemized deductions.
The exception is if you file married filing separately. If you file that way, then both of you HAVE to file the same way, even if one of you is impacted negatively by it. So if you are filing MFS and your spouse itemizes, you have to itemize too.
