Where to i put the Indiana Homestead property tax deduction
The homestead exemption is a reduction in the assessed valuation of the real estate you use as your main home (which results in an overall lower real estate tax bill). The exemption is not entered anywhere on your federal income tax return.

Where to i put the Indiana Homestead property tax deduction
- Login to your TurboTax online account
- Click Take me to my return
- Click the State Taxes tab, then Continue
- Continue through the interview until you reach the Here's the income that Indiana handles differently screen.
- Under the Home section click start or edit next to either Renter's Deduction or Homeowner's Property Tax Deduction.
- Continue to answer the related questions.
