Where do I enter my mortgage interest statement?

Your mortgage interest statement is entered in the "Deductions & Credits" tab.

1. Click Federal on left hand menu

2. Click "Deductions & Credits" tab at top of page

3. Scroll down to "Your Home" topic

4. Click "Show more"

5. Find "mortgage interest, refinancing..."

6. Click Start

The "tax breaks page" only includes the property taxes + mortgage interest. The PMI is not included in that calculation. Will this be updated? I am itemizing.

Entries for form 1098 include mortgage insurance premiums. It is box 5 on the 1098.
