Do you mean contributions to a campaign or political party?

Those contributions are not tax-deductible.

Well my question wasn't specific enough. It is an Oregon state tax credit for political contributions. OR-40 line 26. I called support twice and got the right answer on the second call. Thanks anyway.

How do I enter income from a Canadian pension plan which has a withholding tax deduct by Canada. Considered typing a 1099R but would like to get the Foreign tax credit.
