Here are some ways to help you address the concern with TurboTax insisting on foreign financial assets:
Review Foreign Assets Section:
Sign in to your TurboTax account.
Use the search box to type "form 8938" and select "Jump to link"
Follow the prompts to confirm you do not have foreign accounts
