Any normal medical expenses that you actually paid yourself in 2020 (and were not reimbursed for) can be claimed. But note that the TT categories are just for your use, and only the total amount ends up on the tax return.
You enter what you paid out of pocket. There is a separate place to enter your prescription costs, payments to medical facilities, insurance premiums, etc.
You can deduct things like medical and dental fees, co-pays, eyeglasses, prescriptions, lab fees, surgery, and hospital facility fees. But you can also deduct dentures, contact lens cleaning solution, hearing aid batteries, crutches, mileage to and from the doctor, and expenses for a service dog? See this IRS page on medical expenses to learn which expenses you're allowed to deduct. More on What You Can Deduct.
