Form 8862: Information To Claim Certain Refundable Credits After Disallowance is used by the IRS to make certain that taxpayers are who apply for the Earned Income Credit, Child Tax Credit/Additional Child Tax Credit, and American Opportunity Tax Credit are complying with the requirements to claim those credits.
