For tax purposes you do not need your health insurance subscriber number. If you received a form 1095-B or 1095-C no information is required to be on your tax return. If you did not have health insurance in 2019, no information is required to be on your tax return.
You only need to report if you had health insurance through the marketplace on your tax return. If you have health insurance through the marketplace you should have a form 1095-A. If you have this form this information needs to be put into your return for the tax return to calculate properly.

i dont have it, i was told i dont need it, but the system wont let me efile without it...
The information should be on your 1095-A. Please contact the issuer for the missing information. Do you have something else? The 1095-B and 1095-C are no longer required to be entered. If you have a state plan that is required, it should have your personal ID number.
Your personal information may be where you enrolled in the plan and were assigned a number.
on my state tax filing for Massachusetts, it won't let me complete this unless i put in the health insurance co. subscriber number. we receive a 1095-c with my husband's employer and he is the subscriber for our family's health insurance. it asks the same info for him and myself. Do i not enter anything if the health insurance is through him?
For your insurance, leave the insurance information blank and check the box "I didn't receive a 1099-HC from this insurance company" if everyone was covered by your husband's plan.
