What do I do if TurboTax does not recognize my mortgage company? Does anyone else have Sierra Pacific?

If your mortgage company does not appear in our database, that means they are not a TurboTax partner and you won't be able to import your 1098 form.

1. You'll need to enter it manually so select the Change how I enter my form.
2. On the next page, select Type it in myself.
3. Continue with the onscreen interview until complete.

The IRS lets you deduct your mortgage interest, but only if you itemize deductions. You can't deduct the principal (the borrowed money you're paying back).
