We migrated to the US last year (2022). Should we add as medical expenses the medical exam we paid for as part of the visa immigration process? How about the plane fares?

No you cannot deduct plane fare to come to the U.S.   It is not clear what your immigration status is.  If you are a non-resident alien you will not be able to use TurboTax.

 

If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax.  You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:
