We have a second home with property taxes and a parcel of land with taxes. Where do I enter that information?

For your second home If these are taxes for rental property you own, enter your property taxes in the same place you enter your other rental expenses.

If you're a homeowner and this is your second home, here's how to enter your property taxes:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Navigate to the property tax section:
   • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to property tax.
   • TurboTax Desktop: Select Search Topics. Search for and select property tax.
3. Answer Yes to the question Did you pay property or real estate taxes?
4. On the next screen: enter the amount for your second home in the box on Taxes on additional homes or land
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your property/real estate taxes.
