Hi,
I just got a second full time job, on my current job, my allowance on w4 is 4, should i keep allowance to 0 on my second job so that i pay the maximum tax and not get penalized for not paying enough tax when i file my taxes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry but the W-4 has been redesigned ... there are no more allowances.
On the new form pick the single box and nothing more ... put your name on the top and sign the bottom and hand in the form.
I’m sorry, I do not follow. You are saying “pick the single box” as in the marital status “single” box? On my job 1 I have allowance of 4 (myself, wife and 2 kids). Are you saying in the second job of mine, I should select “single” status box?
thank you for responding. Appreciate it.
You have 2 options ... do what I said and pick SINGLE (even if you are married) .... OR use the IRS tool here (but you have to adjust both jobs this way ) http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/IRS-Withholding-Calculator
