Vanguards 1099-DIV comingles mutual funds and stock under one Fed ID and the ordinary dividends listed and input in TT include both mutual funds and stock. In he past, I used to have to input this stock under the stock section of Premer TT. Do I just ignore that step now??.

For Desktop and probably Online too......when you click on either Interest, Dividends or Investments from the main first income list you get ALL your 1099 forms listed mixed together. You need to go to the bottom and click on +Add Investments. If I’m entering interest I only want to see Interest!
I don't like the new way at all. Everybody is complaining. Too many clicks and screens to click on and go through. Go to the bottom and +Add Investments, then import or skip import, THEN....should be a screen with 5 boxes, pick Interest, Dividends, Stocks Bonds Mutual Funds, Cryptocurrency, or Other
Thanks so much for the quick response. It was very thorough, and I was able to add all my income. This year Vanguards tax paperwork has been really poor with little direction. I found that when funds were transferred to their new brokerage system, stocks (where there was no buying or selling activity) were lumped in with mutual funds and the ordinary dividends listed included those from both. I didn't have to break out my stock, and therefore there is no entry in the stock category of TT Premier.
