I'm a long time TT user but this is the first time I'm having this problem. When I try to enter my charitable contributions, I answer the question "Did you make any donations to charity in 2024?" with "Yes."
Then I'm prompted with "Do you have an account with ItsDeductible Online?" I do not have such an account, so I enter "No."
Then it automatically populates with all of the charities that we contributed to last year. When I go to edit any of them, I'm asked "What did you donate?" "Money" then "Tell us about the money you gave to XXXXXXXX." I have tried entries with all three of the options for how often I gave and after I enter the "Amount of Donation" and click "Done with this Donation," the screen with "What did you donate?" pops back up and my only options are to go "Back" or "Skip for now." If I click "Skip for now," I am returned to my list of charities with no dollar amounts listed and a total of $0.
If I go back to edit the charity I was just working on, the "amount of donation" is blank again as if I never entered anything, and the same thing happens, and my total remains at $0.
I have also tried to add a new charity but that is not working either; the same thing happens.
I tried calling for TT help and shared my screen with the support person but she couldn't figure it out. I'm not sure what else to do . . .

@TR0126 I'm sorry this is happening to you. Are you utilizing desktop or online software?
If desktop, have you done all the updates?
If online, I suggest logging out, clearing your computer cache. Restarting your laptop and trying again.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if the above works.
Are you benefitting from itemizing deductions? Is it possible you selected to take the standard deduction?
If taking standard deduction, no need to enter charitable contributions as they will not benefit you.
Please let me know.
