TurboTax Deluxe 2024 - why does it asks about HSA contributions for 2023 ? Seems like the software needs an update. Any ideas

Depends on where it's asking.  TurboTax needs to determine if you made any HSA contributions for 2023 under the last-month rule or made an HSA funding distribution from a traditional IRA in 2023 which would be subject to an extra tax if you failed to remain HSA eligible throughout 2024.
