I need to file my taxes but I was delayed because the form for the EV motor vehicle tax credit isn’t supported on turbo tax online and would be available on 2/20/2020. Which is frustrating because it was just stating 2/12/2020 yesterday and before that it was a different date. It seems it’s getting pushed further and further back and at this point I’m wondering if I should just file somewhere else??? Anyone else having this problem??????

The IRS has to finalize the form and approves it for e-filing before the form is available on TurboTax. Form 8910 is expected to be available on 02/20/2020.
Will IRS 8936 be coming too? (electric plug-in vehicle credit)
Form 8936 will be in this week's release. We do not yet have an exact date/time, which is why the form is currently absent from the list we normally provide that contains the expected release dates.
I have this post on my watch list today and will return this afternoon to let you know I have learned, or sooner if I get confirmation of a release date.
I apologize for the delays and all of the confusion about this form.
We know it's frustrating to wait and even more frustrating when we cannot provide exact dates and times. It is important that we provide an accurate, quality product for our customers and sometimes that takes a little longer than we'd like.

How about form 8615? It was originally supposed to be available on February 5th, then on the 12th, then on the 22nd, and now it says the 27th. When is the document expected to be released and why is the date changing every week?

The Form 8910 is for an alternative motor vehicle is a vehicle with at least four wheels that qualifies as a qualified fuel cell vehicle.
Qualified fuel cell vehicle. This is a new vehicle propelled by power derived from one or more cells that
convert chemical energy directly into electricity by combining oxygen with hydrogen fuel, and that meets certain additional requirements.
Is this the type of vehicle you own?
Yes!
So do you have an update on when this form will be ready? Is really by 3/31/22?
