I am trying to enter wages paid in TurboTax Biz 2018. System is filling in a value for all other employees and won't let me zero that amount out. I need to put in an amount for Officer salary and leave the all other employee value blank or zero. When I zero out the value the SW puts it back in when look at the totals for the wage category.

Are you entering the figures in the section depicted in the screenshot below? I cannot seem to reproduce the results you are describing. Could you specify the exact steps you are using to enter the figures?
Yes that is correct
I used the import transactions function to pull data from QB desktop to TT, but the number is wrong and it is putting the value into the wrong category.
As far as steps - I place the cursor in the field, enter a number and place the cursor in the field containing the erroneous numbers, highlight the numbers, and hit the delete key. The numbers I entered show up in the interface, the numbers I deleted, are removed.
I am not certain what is happening behind the scenes (in terms of the software coding) when importing from QuickBooks, but I suspect that might be the source of the issue you are experiencing. Is there any possible way you could duplicate the return without importing from QB in order to see if the issue disappears?
I Don't see a real point in doing that. If that proved that import is the problem that's saying I will have to re-enter all other details manually, which is unacceptable. I am using two products that are made by the same company that have integrated well before. I expect them to work well now. I can override other values that were imported, why would this one be different? UNACCEPTABLE.
I see that I can use forms mode to override the values in the step by step. BUT the category of wages between Officer, <2% and all other employees is wrong. I don't know what difference that ends up making, but at least I can now get the right value in. I haven't figured out how to move the imported data values into the right category. I suspect that the import process is not smart enough to pickup the nuances of types of employees and is simply dumping it into "all other employees".
Given that this does not seem to be a commonly reported problem here on the forums, rather than this being a problem with the import process itself it seems more likely that your status as an officer or shareholder is somehow not properly known by QuickBooks.
