Greetings, I just noticed that the desktop version of TurboTax Delux 2025 is missing the "Other items donations worksheet"
I use this to include all my non-cash items donated. For example, towels, books, and other items donation to various charitable organizations.
Please advise.

On my Windows Desktop (Premier)
When I click on the pencil to edit my donations to the Salvation Army, the next page offers 3 choices to me with checkboxes:
__________
Cash.....Cash, Checks, card payments, Payroll deductions
Items and Stock........Clothes Appliances Furniture.....etc
Vehicle Use.....Mileage, Parking, Out-of-pocket
_____________
You choose the second one, and you can begin to add your various items and Create a table of item donations to that charity..

BIG BUG
But a warning....there are some situations where you make some other changes/additions to charities, and ALLL the items donated in every charity disappear.....especially if you delete an unused charity after putting items in other charities.
Thus...I suggest you wait until mid February to enter your items, and only at the end of a week after updating....don't know if it will take that long for them to fix.....but should be fixed by then (OK ...a guess ... 70% likely)
Hi, thanks for responding.
I'm not sure what you mean by editing my donations.
In all previous versions of Turbo Tax going back 20 years, there was a worksheet called "Other Item Donation Worksheet". It is this worksheet where I would enter all non-cash items such as to Goodwill. For this year that worksheet is missing. Did they charge something?
Are you saying they will fix this by mid February? If it's not fixed I will not be able to file my taxes properly.
Thanks very much, Bruce Cohen, CPA
Hi....this is the worksheet used to prepare the From 8283.
Thanks again, Bruce
The worksheet is in mine when I've entered items for the salvation army (using the interview to enter them though). See picture below:

BUT...the software has a major bug right now, in that the form 8283 isn't being generated for "items" totalling over $500 (well except for stock, but that really isn't an "item")
See the conversation here:
Re: TECHNICAL ISSUE: Form 8283 will not populate in my return. Filing rejected

Thanks for getting back to me.
Every since I started using TT I always entered amounts directly in the form. I've never used the "interview" method. But I just used the "interview" method and was able to enter the non-cash items successfully.
During my test, I entered $600 as the FMV of items donated to Goodwill. I did generate a form 8283 for $600.
I still think there is a bug since I'm not able to enter this information directly in the form ie not using the "interview" method.
Hopefully they will fix it. Thank you again. I appreciate it.

True for a single item entry that is over $500, teh 8283 populates (as long as the person is within the itemized deductions range.)
But if you made (say) 3 separate "item" donations worth $200 each to goodwill on 3 different dates....then no 8283 is generated
or
Perhaps "item" donations to 3 different charities, each worth $200, then no 8283 is generated
_______________
Though I'm not an expert in "item" donations, and when an 8283 should generate,.....never having bothered to enter any "items" I've donated...just stocks on occasion.
Ok. I will do further testing.
But if it doesn't generate a correct 8284...I won't be able to finish my taxes.
Do you know if there is any way I can contact TT directly? I tried everything but cant get thru. I just want to report a software bug.
Thanks for your help.
OK!!!!, this morning's update (1 February) "seems" to have fixed it....(at least for the desktop software) And a weekend update is very unusual.
BUT
You may have to go thru the entries again if you haven't entered addresses yet for certain charities.
Edited my last reply from this morning 1 Feb.
Great!:I'll take a look today. Hopefully it will work.
Thank you!!
Hi. Even after updating the software, it still doesn't work. As I said normally, for the past 20 years, I'm able to enter the non-cash donations directly on the worksheet...without going through the interview process.
For now I did go through the interview process and added, for example, $100 from Goodwill and it generated the Form 8283. No problem.
Then I added $6000 from AMVETS. It did NOT generate that on Form 8283.
That is a huge problem.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!! Bruce Cohen CPA
Can't explain that myself......
You can try calling Call Customer Support.
Maybe depends on how you entered it.
I tried $6,000 of item donations to a purported AMVETS site...as two 3,000 donations on the same day.
One for 6 new Cellphones at $3,000 total, as a single entry
One for 2 new laptop computers for $3,000 total, as a single entry.
And they both showed up an my second form 8283 (first one was filled up with other item donations to other charities) all in Part A of the 8283
______________
Don't know what happens if you do a single $6,000 donation, as that requires an appraisal, and ends up in Part B of an 8283...never tried that. myself.
Yep. Your way worked. Outstanding! I was able to enter all non -cash contributions and they did appear on 8283. I sure hope the next update doesn't mess anything up.
Customer service will need $$$ in order for an expert to speak with me. In previous years I was able to talk to someone without paying for an expert.
Thank you for your ongoing help.
