2017 Disaster Distribution ? $ 0 ?

If your question is in reference to a Form 1099-R, TurboTax is aware of this issue and is currently working on a solution.

As a workaround, you can answer "no" to the question "Was this a Qualified Disaster Distribution?"  and when asked "What type of disaster affected you in 2017?" leave the selection blank and hit continue.  This will not affect any calculations and you will be able to E-file.

2017 Disaster Distribution ? $ 0 ?

This is a TurboTax bug.

I get the same problem - simple 1099-R distribution that was rolled from a Traditional IRA to a Roth IRA.  There was nothing to do with "2017 Disaster Distribution" (in fact it says I have "$0 as a Qualified 2017 Disaster Distribution" plus ":Pay tax on the entire distribution in 2018" checkbox).

I hope TurboTax is monitoring this tread and posts a fix.
