Single, never married, filed single no children. Turbo tax  wants me to fill schedule 8812 regarding third stimlus check as advance child tax credit. Turbo tax mention letter 6419 (never received this letter from anyone), I am totally confused . I am unaware that third stimulus was for child credit. For 60 + years I Filed taxes as Single with no depandents. Please help - Thanks

Everyone is being asked to complete the Schedule 8812 for tax year 2021 when using TurboTax since so many have received the advance child tax credit in 2021.

Enter a 0 (zero) when asked to enter a number on the Schedule 8812. This will correct the error and remove the Schedule 8812 from your tax return so that you can file the return.
