It is no present in the Home & Business version. Where do I find it there?
The stimulus question is presented in the Federal Review section of the program after you have entered all of your federal income, deductions and expenses.
There are only two reasons the stimulus question would not be presented -
1. You are being claimed as a dependent (or)
2. Your 2021 Adjusted Gross Income is over the maximum for the Recovery Rebate Credit
• Single or married filing separately—$80,000
• Married filing jointly or qualifying widow(er)—$160,000
• Head of household—$120,000
We are over the $160 Total Income limit in 2021 and 2020, but not in 2019. We received two "Letter 6475" (one for me, one for my spouse for the same amount). I am concerned that we have received more than allowed by the IRS for our total income. Is this an issue?
If your 2021 is too high to qualify for the Recovery Rebate Credit it won't ask you for it. If your AGI is too high you don't have to enter what you got or letter 6475 and you don't have to pay it back and it is not taxable.
