What ???   Did the IRS request some information to process the decedent's return or the Estate return ?  If so then do as they request per the notice instructions.

That is not a method you were given in the letter you got from the IRS. You *must* follow the instructions in the notice you got from the IRS to the absolute letter of perfection.  The most common options such notices give you is to either mail it to them through the U.S. Postal Service, or fax it to them at the fax number provided in the notice. Anything other than what that letter instructs you to do, is a dead end.

You most also complete the actions specified in that notice by the deadline given. Once that deadline passes, you're just flat outta luck.
