I was going to file for my property tax refund directly through the MN Dept of Revenue and do not want to do it through TurboTax, but it won't allow me to uncheck this box.

Please remove all the related inputs you entered after checking the property tax refund (Form M1PR) box, and then go back to uncheck it. If it didn't work, try to remove your Minnesota state return and start over.
