Any expense that is directly attributable to your business activity can be used as a business expense. The classes must be directly related to operating, marketing and producing income for your business.
You can enter these expenses by following the steps shown below in TurboTax Self Employed.
1. Sign into your TurboTax Account (online or desktop)
2. In the search box, upper right
3. Search for business expenses
4. Jump to business expenses
5. Edit beside your business.
6. Select Business Expenses > Other Common Business Expenses
6. Follow the screens to enter your business expense (see images attached for assistance)
