New job last 4 days of 2016

If my husband started working for the military on December 27th 2016, do I have to put that on our taxes? He did not get paid for the first time until January 15th. Thank you in advance

Nope, you only report the income you made in the year of 2016. So since he didn't receive his first check until January 15, 2017 he does not report that on his 2016 return. Thank you for your husbands service in the military 🙂
