If you don't have your receipts, it it okay to use your banks statements to verify your expenses for self-employment

There are some receipts that I no longer have that were for my expenses used for my contracting work, but when I review my past bank statements, I can recall and verify which expenses were used for my work. Is it okay for me to report my expenses without having the receipts?
