Tax Worksheet

I explored the idea of listing deductions and found the standardized deduction was best for me.Now when I go to file my return, an error in the worksheet does not allow me to do so.

The worksheet asked me about the dates of my residency in Colorado. I lived here from January, 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. When I enter that information, I receive a message that there is an error. They say that this is more than 365 days. THIS NOT TRUE! I have tried to enter the correct information many, may times and get the same message.

Consequently, I am unable to file my return

Tax Worksheet

It depends. The area of the return that would affect itemized deductions potentially is with sales tax. I recommend signing out completely and closing the browser window before proceeding.

Open an incognito Chrome browser to sign in to your TurboTax program and re-run the review. If you are still getting an error, proceed with the next step.

Since you have found the standardized deduction is preferred, Schedule A can be deleted by following these steps:

  1. From the left menu, select Tax Tools
  2. Tools
  3. Delete a Form
  4. Scroll down to Schedule A and click delete and confirm the deletion
  5. Re-run the reviews
