Hi -

I was audited and had to pay $268.58 to the state of KY in 2019, can I take this as an expense?

if you itemize in 2019 part of it can be included in taxes paid for 2019. the bill probably consisted of taxes, penalties, and interest. only the taxes portion is deductible.
