Student- Resident Alien- FICA Tax

Hello,

In 2019 my wife became a resident alien for tax purposes (still on F1 status), and was working for the school where she was pursuing her graduate degree. Since she was working for the same school, they did not deduct FICA taxes, and I believe she would be exempt for FICA for that work.

My question is- does she have to fill out any additional form to document this school-student relationship? Or would her regular 1040 suffice?

Thank you.

No, nothing special needs to be done.  Her W-2 should show the proper information, and that is all you need.
