Student Loan Interest

My 2 children have private student loans.

I am a co-signer.

Each child received a 1098-E

They do NOT file their own taxes.

Can I deduct the interest paid?

Yes, you can claim the interest on your tax return. This IRS Tax Topic lists the qualifications to be able to claim the deduction.
