2022 Taxes. TurboTax asked for state (California) medical expenses. I had not claimed these on the federal return due to the 7.5% limit. I saved the page and exited TurboTax to gather the data. After opening TurboTax later with the data the page could not be found, nor could any other reference to (state) medical expenses. Where do I enter the information?

You can enter your medical expenses in Deductions & Credits even if you are not able to itemize on your federal return.
TurboTax will carry the amount to California and give you the larger of the state standard deduction or itemized deductions.
To enter medical expenses:
California has the same medical expense threshold as federal, Expenses are only deductible if they exceed 7.5% of your federal adjusted gross income.
For a list o how California handles common itemized deductions see Deductions.
