I received a 1099R for my portion of paying a part of my pension to my ex. Do I put that in income or alimony received?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you got the 1099R in your name and ssn it is income to you.
Enter a 1099R under
Federal Taxes Tab or Personal (Home & Business)
Wages & Income at the top
Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security,
Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plans (1099R) - click Start or Revisit
Thanks
