why is my 2025 turbotax return limiting my salt deductions to 10000. Our gross is well below the 500000 limit

Where are you seeing this limit? Are you using the desktop or online version?  You are using the 2025 version correct? The 2025 program is generally working correctly for federal and giving the $40,000 limit.
