My home equity loan was paid off and I went to a reverse mortgage. Does this qualify as a refinanced loan?

Reverse mortgage is totally different that a mortgage that has been refinanced.

A reverse mortgage is a mortgage loan, usually secured over a residential property, that enables the borrower to access the unencumbered value of the property. The loans are typically promoted to older homeowners and typically do not require monthly mortgage payments.

Refinanced mortgage is to lower your monthly payments, pay off your loan sooner, or access cash for a large purchase. Use our home value estimator to estimate the current value of your home.
